Here’s a sketch of Rache! (U mad Ev?) Just because I didn’t wanna put up another text based post. I like pictures, because I’m an artist.

Anyway, so my school wants my portfolio to judge what kind of classes I need/don’t need. So I’ma be busy this next week getting my stuff together.

Yes, another text post. Why? Because…FUCK YOU, that’s why.

So I’m sleeping in my cozy little bed, being a good pirate, having piratey dreams about treasure and stuff. Then, my fire alarm starts chirping. 4 in the freakin’ morning, my fire alarm starts chirping. LOW BATTERY!! LOW BATTERY!! Like I give a shit at 4 am. Anyone ever notice that they don’t chirp in the daytime? So anyway, I’m stuck with this chirping because I have very VERY high vaulted ceilings. The only thing I can do is go to the apartment manager in the morning….at 9. So for now, I’m stuck with this chirping.

I pull myself out of my warm bed, grab my pillow and blanket, and slump to the couch in the living room, shutting my bedroom door in hopes that it’ll block out that very high pitched chirp. So I’m lying on the couch, the high pitched chirping a little muffled and more bearable. Just as I start to fade into sleep again, my very sick cat takes a huge diarrhea dump. Now, this being a small apartment, my couch is right next to the closet with the litter box. I lift my head only to be greeted by the sight that she MISSED the litter box, and there’s a puddle of sick all over the floor. Great. The smell starts to get to me, but I tell myself it won’t matter if I can just fall asleep. My cat thinks differently.

She walks over to the couch, jumps up on the side, and takes a long walk across my pillow and my blanket to my feet. Suddenly, the smell is ten times worse than before. I look over on my pillow, where she walked, and there’s diarrhea all over it. She’s tracking it around with her feet. At this point I want to die.

I rush back to my room, grab another pillow case and toss my bed things into my hamper. Now I have a choice. It’s either sleep on the couch with no blankets, or cuddle in my bed under my sheets. I go for the bed and the high pitched chirp. I end up falling asleep around 5:30ish, and all is well. Or so I thought.

I had shut my door so my cat couldn’t wander in with her dirty little feets. But just as I fall asleep my kitten decides she wants in. She starts pulling at the door through the crack in the floor and meowing LOUDLY. I scream in frustration. Fuck it, I’ll just let her in, and deal with the mess in the morning. The lack of sleep is not worth it. So I let her in, and FINALLY slip into sleep.

My phone rings. It’s 7 am. Turns out the financial officer at my college thought it would be a GREAT time to call me up and discuss money matters. My speech mumbled, my brain dead, I make up something about not being able to read through the paper work until this afternoon, and hang up. Finally, FINALLY, it’s time to sleep. I pull my sheets up to my chest, bury my face in my pillow, and close my heavy eyelids.

CHIRP. CHIRP. CHIRP.

My kitten sliced my index finger open. Dx This is going to make drawing far more difficult. 

Speaking of it being difficult, I’m having soo much trouble with this one pose. I’ve spent DAYS on it. Ever had that one drawing that just wouldn’t work?

So here is my baby. Going through some tough times right now. She’s very very sick, and probably doesn’t have much time left. I’ve been really sad and depressed, so it’s slowing down my work on my art.

Design sketches for Spectra! I was a little inspired by Fluttershy as I worked on her. But as I kept going, I started to work an 80s theme in also. No idea why. Go figure.

LEG WARMERS ANYONE?

I’ve been really slow on finishing my art, especially for my DeviantArt stuff. So I figured I’d use this tumblr to post the sketches and designs I’m working on to show that I’m still alive and, well….working. And post various updates and just…stuff I like. So here it is. I’ll post my finished work on DA every time, so keep looking on that.

Well right now I’m still working on my fifth page for ‘Sometimes I Go To Pieces’, and I have the sketches done. I introduced a new character for this page, and I plan on posting the developmental sketches I did for her. Yay.~
